You all remember back in June when Bow received a stack of letters from Mary Mast’s 3rd third grade class from Cesar E. Chavez Elementary school, right?
The outpouring of love and compassion from Mrs. Mast’s students touched all of us! The first day back to class this year, and Mrs. Mast said that, as expected, all the students were asking about Bow.
She decided to find out for herself! So this weekend Mrs. Mast stopped over at Carol’s to meet Bow!
It’s always exciting when Bow gets visitors, but this was such a special day. Bow touched Mary so much that she turned his story into a lesson of compassion to her students. We know how important it is to teach kids of all ages that we need to be the voice for animals and help those in need. Her students letters truly touched us all and we know that those students will grow up to love and care for animals. Many of the students wrote that Bow was courageous and their hero, but Mary is one of our heroes! She is definitely a wonderful advocate for not only Bow, but cats and all creatures everywhere.
Thank you Mary! (Keep up to date with Bow on his Facebook page at Justice for Bow.)

This is such a sweet picture. Bow looks like he’s enjoying his self loving the attention. That is so wonderful to see! And Mary thank you for all the wonderful work you are doing with your class! I’m sure they look forward to the update about Bow!
